President Theresa PetroneCAP COM Federal Credit Union | ||||||||||
| Theresa Petrone is the Foundation and Public Relations Administrator for CAP COM Federal Credit Union. Theresa works with CAP COM staff, members and volunteers to support community health and wellness programs; financial literacy and education initiatives; and causes that support children and underprivileged families through the charitable arm of the Credit Union, the CAP COM Cares Foundation. Theresa grew up in the small town of Rhinebeck, NY and received her B.A. from the University at Albany in 2005. A member of the Capital Alliance of Young Professionals (CAYP) since 2008, she served on the Board of Associates for one year before being elected the organization’s second President. She continues to work in concert with CAYP’s leadership to ensure the organization’s sense of community and commitment to its members. Additionally, Theresa has been a volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Compeer Program for the past several years. She has also completed three marathons with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training program and is a contributing writer for the Times Union’s blog “Pay It Forward”. | |||||||||||

Vice President Ryan Hanley | ||||||||||
| Ryan Hanley has proudly served on the CAYP Board of Directors since May of 2009 and assumed the role of Vice President in July of 2010. Professionally, Ryan works as an Insurance Agent for the Murray Group Insurance Services, Inc and has been providing personal and commercial insurance services to the Albany / Capital Region and New York Tech Valley for over three years. Ryan grew up in Rensselaer County graduating from Columbia High School and went on to receive a bachelors degree in Mathematics from the very distinguished University of Rochester. Ryan is also the creator and author of the internationally acclaimed Albany Insurance Professional blog. | |||||||||||

| Liz Vitaliano is a 2005 graduate from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Chemical Engineering. Liz is also a graduate of the Operations Management Leadership Program (OMLP) from GE and has now been working within the Plastics industry for 5 years. She currently works at SABIC Innovative Plastics as the ColorXpress Engineering Leader. Liz is a candidate at Union Graduate College for a Masters in Business Administration. Her expected graduation date is 2012. Liz has been a member of CAYP since November 2007 and joined the Board of Associates in May 2009. She is currently the Secretary of CAYP. In her free time, Liz enjoys playing soccer, softball, golf and running. She also is an avid reader and loves to travel. Her favorite vacation spot is the beach. | |||||||||||

| Adam M. Breault, Esq. joined the Albany law firm of Meyers & Meyers, LLP in December of 2006 as a magna cum laude graduate of Albany Law School. Adam’s practice focuses on commercial and business law, immigration, personal injury, real estate, and estate planning, as well as many other areas of practice. Before joining Meyers & Meyers, LLP, Adam practiced law in Syracuse where he focused primarily on medical malpractice, product liability, and personal injury law. Upon graduating law school, he served as an appellate law clerk for the Appellate Division, Third Department in Albany. Before working for Capital Bank, Jessica worked at Citizens Bank in Troy, NY also as a Branch Manager. Jessica is involved with Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless, is a Board Member for The Albany Damien Center and is the Chairperson for the Colonie Chamber of Commerce Membership Committee. | Stephanie Douglas is Northeast Parent & Child Society’s Director of Development and Communications. She has been with the agency for 3 years and is responsible for a variety of marketing projects and fund raising activities including special events, seasonal appeals, publication designs, photography, website content and social media management. She holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and management from Siena College.In addition to CAYP, Stephanie serves on the Board of Directors of the Oran Mor Pipe Band, a professional 30+ member competition band based out of Albany, where she handles the group’s fund raising efforts, special events, communications and social media. She is also an e-Buddy volunteer with Best Buddies International, a program that provides opportunities for e-mail friendships between persons with a developmental disability and their peers who do not have a developmental disability. | |||||||||||

Courtney Myers is the Director of Marketing & Circulation at The Business Review. She is involved in creating and refining programs that educate readers about the many ways to use The Business Review to grow their own business, and to network and connect with others in the business community. Before joining The Business Review, she worked in hospitality at the Hyatt Place in Malta and the Crowne Plaza in Albany. She is an active member of many of the area chambers and the Malta Business and Professional Association. She is a graduate of Castleton State College in Vermont, where she earned a Communication degree in Public Relations. For many years she has been a volunteer at Wiawaka Holiday House, a nonprofit women’s resort in Lake George, which her father operates and Mount Allamuchy Scout Reservation a Boy Scout camp operated by her mother and stepfather in New Jersey.

| Danielle Valenti is the Community Manager at readMedia, Inc. in Albany, NY, where she works primarily with clients in higher education on content strategy, social media and media relations. She helps clients support institutional goals like enrollment, student retention and alumni engagement. Danielle grew up in Pittsfield, MA and received her B.A. in Communication and Media from Western New England University. A CAYP member since 2008, Danielle has served on the Board of Directors since 2009. In addition to CAYP, Danielle has served on the board of the Albany Ad Club since 2008. She currently holds the position of Vice President and was the co-chair of the 2011 NORI Awards.
