CAYP is led under the direction of its current president, Theresa Petrone, appointed in July 2010. CAYP’s Board of Directors is comprised of twelve professionals who were recruited based on their previous active involvement as CAYP members and professional achievement. These bright and driven individuals lend their time and talent to plan events, further develop the CAYP website and social media presence, secure local sponsors, recruit members, establish member benefits, and expand the organization’s overall presence in the Capital Region.
CAYP actively seeks its members’ input and involvement. The Board of Directors host open meetings for those interested in becoming involved in the planning and future of CAYP. This practice has played a tremendous role in CAYP’s past success by capitalizing on the ambition, drive and energy of its members.
As the area’s only group of its kind, CAYP continues to dedicate its efforts to make the Capital Region a better place to live, work and play for young professionals!
