CAYP for a Cause Builds a Home

CAYP for a Cause (CFAC) will launch its first project on March 2nd! CFAC has chosen to partner with Capital District Habitat for Humanity in order to  build a home for our families in need. If you want to get involved, read on!

Build day for CAYP Members – Saturday, March 2 (Location in Troy)

What the day will look like:

  • Typical days are 8:00am – 3:00pm
  • Day starts with a safety orientation
  • Members will be broken up into groups and assigned crew leaders that will teach specific skills for different tasks

About Capital District Habitat for Humanity:

    • Helps to develop and transform communities by building affordable and sustainable homes for hard working, lower income families.
    • Since its inception in 1976, the organization and its 2,300+ affiliates have built or rehabilitated more than 500,000 houses.
    • Is regarded as an established leader in addressing the issue of affordable housing.
